Seems that the ppicture and reception quality is good for about 2-3 years with the previous Phillips we purchased. I hesitated to buy it as so many other reviews said the sound was way to quiet to the point you can hardly hear it. The sound quality is not great although it is supposedly stereo, but I can live with that when watching the news from my bed at night. Worth the $. Support, because RCA fails to provide the requisite syncing code for this TV, and there are a LOT of possible RCA sync codes. Once installed the TV worked fine for less than 24 hours then wouldn't allow you to change a channel or adjust the volume, change to a DVD or to the radio using the remote or the controls on the actual TV. One would expect a machine made I'm happy! … My old "under the counter 9 inch kitchen TV" finally died, and no "brand name" TV's are available in these small sizes anymore.
