samsung soundbar reset

I have tried hard reset with pushing + and - and unplugging and replugging.

I have a Samsung Soundbar HW-450 that recently stopped working. I spent time on the phone with samsung today, and the guy wanted me to do a hard reset on the soundbar by pressing and holding the "Play/Pause" button for 10-15 seconds. I never got a 'INIT OK' message though.It did not seem to help the ARC issue. If an update is available from Samsung, you can update the firmware by connecting a USB device with the firmware update stored on it to the USB port on your soundbar.

I go out and buy a new Samsung soundbar and now I have issues.Anyway,  I tried this and it worked.

Turning off sound device, power on the sound device (which to TV Audio), then turn on the TV, go to the menu, turn on HDMI-CEC and it works.turn off HDMI-CEC on TV, unplug Power to TV, ensure power is drained from TV (holding power button). When the sound and video are out of sync, the difference can be so small that some people don't notice it, but others find it distracting.

I go out and buy a new Samsung soundbar and now I have issues.Anyway,  I tried this and it worked. Occasionally, Samsung may offer important firmware updates for your soundbar. If there is still no audio, replace the cable and try again.If the soundbar does not output sound, please contact us via 1800-SAMSUNG (1800-7267864) or Press and hold any key of the remote while viewing it through a mobile phone camera, you should be able to see if the transmitting infra-red LED glows or not.

How do I reset my Samsung HW-Q90r soundbar?

I have a 2016 samsung KS8000 tv hooked up to a HW-Q70R Soundbar. even though it not full atmos it is a soundbars so it still sounded better then the bluetooth connection i was using.My original setup was Hisense 65N series TV hooked up to an Onkyo receiver.

All of a sudden it lost the HDMI connection.
